This session is for beginners and intermediate milliners, each participant will be encouraged to go at their own pace and develop their own creative ideas while learning good technique.
Each session begins at 6.00pm and goes until 9.00pm. The room opens 15 minutes before the session. The sessions are held in Nicholas Building on the corner of Swanston St and Flinders Lane. Come into Cathedral Arcade and take the lift to level 6 and look for room 3, just near the lift.
If you come to class with some ideas of what you would like to make along with some images (maybe pinterest?) or magazine clippings that would help you get started on your first project.
There are 2 main suppliers in Melbourne to the millinery industry. They both have good websites. House of Adorn in Glen Waverly and Torb and Reiner in Carnegie. If you can go there you will be able to handle the materials and buy
